About The Diamond Rehab Thailand

The Diamond Rehab Thailand is a boutique residential addiction and mental health treatment centre in the peaceful countryside outside Hua Hin. Founded in 2020, the centre offers a private, supportive environment for adults seeking help with substance use, behavioural addictions, trauma, mood disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns. Treatment is highly individualized, beginning with a clinical assessment and progressing through detox or stabilization when required, primary therapy and continuing-care planning. Its multidisciplinary programme blends established methods such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, individual counselling and group therapy with mindfulness, yoga, fitness and other restorative practices. Minnesota Model principles are available alongside non-12-step options, allowing care to reflect each client’s needs and preferences. With a small client community and private accommodation, The Diamond is designed for people who value discretion and close access to clinical support. The programme welcomes men, women, couples, professionals, executives, young adults and midlife adults, with family therapy and couples counselling available where clinically appropriate. The tropical Hua Hin setting supports recovery through gardens, swimming, beach walks, fitness and organized excursions. Private rooms, gourmet dining, wellness facilities and airport transfers provide resort-style comfort while clients focus on building healthier routines, understanding underlying difficulties and preparing for life after residential treatment.

Most of us enter rehab with trepidation and I was no exception. I was tired of my addiction taking so much from me and I finally took the leap – though with very little hope. My focus was mainly on the amenities provided: a swimming pool, gym, sauna, massages, yoga, excursions and a private villa with cleaning and laundry taken care of. I figured that if I were going to give rehab a chance, I might as well do it luxuriously. However, little did I know that by the end of my stay, I would have done this program without those things as long as I had the love, support and care of the staff and my peers. The focus shifted to the cleaning staff leaving little inspirational notes every morning and playing volleyball with us; the kitchen staff providing lovely meals and building puzzles with us; the counsellors truly seeing and hearing us and even joining us for water fights during Songkran; the support staff guiding us through small concerns and enjoying excursions with us; and the management taking our recovery and feedback seriously. Another thing worth noting is that they provide transportation to an offsite AA meeting every Wednesday. My thoughts around AA were never optimistic, but that changed once I allowed myself to be open to the idea. The few meetings I attended during my two-month stay gave me a sense of belonging. The Diamond takes a holistic approach to recovery, but having the option to attend AA showed me that they truly strive to provide us with every possible tool upon our departure. Eugene was my addiction counsellor and as a know-it-all, I truly believed I knew everything about myself and had all the answers. He helped me face ugly truths and recognize the parts of myself I had been blind to. There was patience, encouragement and above all, an understanding of my needs and pace. I learned to humble myself and I realized that being honest with myself and others was necessary for peace and authenticity. All three counsellors have their own strengths, accommodating the many different personalities that walked through those gates. I found myself looking forward to the one-on-one sessions because they allowed me to learn more about myself. They never felt like counselling sessions, but rather safe spaces where I could lay all my fears and faults on the table. It is never easy to be vulnerable with a stranger, but The Diamond, with its small intake of only 12 clients at a time, allowed the counsellors to see us as more than clients. They treated us as equals and I never felt as though an authoritative hand was clenched around my recovery. I experienced many firsts here – rafting, fishing and karaoke. I also regained things – trust, belonging and gratitude. And I left things behind – fear, pessimism and resentment. This was not an easy journey; after all, a glowstick has to be broken for it to glow. There were sleepless nights but peaceful mornings, hidden pain released through tears but endless laughter and fears that tried to steal hope away, only for gratitude to take over and protect it instead. The Diamond became a place of security and safety for me – a home. And a home is not defined by its tangibility. I found myself and I found friendships for which I will be eternally grateful. I fear this review is not enough to describe how absolutely life-changing this experience has been for me. There will never be enough words but there will always be two words that have never held more meaning: thank you. - Nini

My stay for compulsive overeating addiction was for 15 weeks, and it was undoubtedly, for lack of better words, life-changing. The amazing team of psychotherapists, addiction counselors, support staff, and hospitality all played a part in my positive transformation. The Diamond is a beautiful compound with excellent amenities. They offer delicious meals and smoothies, spa treatments, yoga 2x a week, morning walks and hikes, gym time (located 20 steps across the street), Saturday excursions, and the occasional karaoke, BBQ, and festive activities. However, don’t let the word “luxury” and the gorgeous photos fool you. It’s not a vacation. It’s not a detox center. It’s not a weight loss retreat. It’s a lot of hard mental work. And it’s absolutely worth it. The counselors firsthand understand us clients. The level of care the staff provides is top-notch; they truly have our best interests in mind. Thanks to them and the structure and consistency of their program, I have learned to be honest and humble, to communicate effectively, to appreciate myself, and to take one day at a time. Effectively, I have “become a better version of myself.” I can’t thank you enough for the incredible experience. I look forward to continuing my journey with aftercare from the team.

I recently completed a 4-week stay at The Diamond Rehab, and I can confidently say that it was a transformative experience that has set me on a positive path toward recovery. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality and professionalism of the staff. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that I felt comfortable and supported throughout my stay. My room was fantastic—spacious, clean, and well-equipped, providing a peaceful environment that was perfect for reflection and recovery. The weather in Thailand was simply amazing, adding to the overall positive atmosphere of the facility. One of the highlights of my time at The Diamond Rehab was the Monday morning hikes at 6:30 AM. These excursions were invigorating and offered a great way to connect with nature and fellow guests. Additionally, the walks or runs on Wednesday and Friday mornings, tailored to individual fitness levels, were a fantastic way to start the day and promote a healthy lifestyle. The weekend excursions were also a wonderful break from the daily routine, allowing me to explore the beautiful surroundings and engage with others in a relaxed setting. I made some great friends during my stay, and the connections we formed were invaluable to my healing process. The counselors at The Diamond Rehab were incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. Their guidance and insights helped me address the underlying issues contributing to my struggles, and I felt empowered to make lasting changes in my life. I wholeheartedly recommend The Diamond Rehab to anyone seeking a genuine opportunity for change and recovery. It’s more than just a rehab facility; it’s a supportive community that fosters growth and healing. Thank you, Diamond Rehab, for this life-changing experience! -Siggi Bond

Ninety days ago, I walked into The Diamond Rehab in Thailand with my life in pieces. My relationships, my role as a parent, and my professional career were all hanging by a thread — severely compromised by addiction. Today, I walk out not just sober, but transformed. From the moment I arrived, I knew I had made the right choice. Within a week, the depth of care, integrity, and clinical expertise made it clear that this wasn't just another rehab — this was a sanctuary built on healing, truth, and human connection. In a world where so many treatment centers are driven by profit, The Diamond is refreshingly different. They are 100% patient-focused. Every psychologist, counselor, and staff member is deeply invested in your growth — not just your sobriety. The Clinical Director designed a recovery plan tailored specifically to my needs and didn’t shy away from applying just the right amount of therapeutic pressure. It wasn’t always easy, but it was exactly what I needed. They challenged me to confront the deeper roots of my addiction, and through that, I found my strength. This place gave me a war chest of psychological tools and personal insight — more than I ever imagined possible. I now walk away not just clean, but irreversibly changed: a better husband, a more present father, a grounded leader, and just a wholesome human being. But perhaps what’s most remarkable is this: I’m not alone in this transformation. Over the course of my stay, I witnessed at least 20 others undergo the same profound journey. The success stories coming out of this place are not flukes — they are the result of a world-class team and an environment that fosters real, lasting change. If you're reading this and you're on the fence — overwhelmed, scared, or unsure if rehab is right for you — I beg you to consider The Diamond. Walking through those doors was the hardest decision I ever made… and the best one. This place saved my life. It can save yours too.
