Sofia Wellness Clinic
About Sofia Wellness Clinic
Sofia Wellness Clinic is a private outpatient counselling and psychotherapy practice in central Singapore. The clinic supports children, adolescents, adults, older adults, couples and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, OCD, stress, burnout, anger and relationship difficulties. Both in-person and online appointments are available, making care accessible to local residents and Singapore’s expatriate community. Founded by counsellor and psychotherapist Sophia Goh, the practice grew from a solo service into a multidisciplinary team of master’s-trained clinicians. Its philosophy centres on personalised, ethical and evidence-based care delivered in a confidential, inclusive setting. Therapists work collaboratively with each client, adapting the treatment plan to their circumstances, identity, strengths and personal goals. Treatment may draw from cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, EMDR, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, somatic work and other recognised approaches. Dedicated services are also available for couples, families, LGBTQ+ clients and younger people, with play-based methods offered when developmentally appropriate. The clinic is located inside Singapore Shopping Centre on Clemenceau Avenue. Its comfortable, conversational environment is designed for private outpatient therapy rather than residential treatment. Session frequency and overall duration are individualised, with weekly or fortnightly appointments commonly encouraged when consistent support is beneficial.

Reviews from Guests
Real experiences from people who've been there.
I’ve been seeing Hui Yu for almost a year for my OCD, anxiety, and depression, and in my last 10 years of working with counsellors, Hui Yu stands out as one of the very best. I feel extremely safe, seen and heard in every session. Hui Yu combines evidence‑based tools (like CBT and ERP) with genuine warmth, making every session both structured and deeply supportive. Under her guidance I’ve been able to rebuild my life again, build practical coping rituals, and finally felt hope return. I wholeheartedly recommend her 🤍
Sophia has always been extremely empathetic, patient and insightful. She talks me through life’s challenges with grace and understand and helps me achieve a more positive outlook in life. She has helped me realised that it’s not always easy, but it will always get better. ❤️
I felt seen with compassion not withstanding the depth of therapeutic knowledge in sessions. Also, the thoughtfully-designed space brought a sense of calm and even inspired me to make changes to my living space to invite grounding, curiosity and joy in befriending parts of myself. Sometimes, change isn’t just behavior modification but about being renewed in mind and spirit.
Sofia is very attentive and understanding. She listens carefully to what I was troubled with and suggested different ways of approaching my issues. I feel safe when I talk to her as she is very grounded. Will definitely recommend Sofia to anyone seeking a listening ear.
