Promises Healthcare is a private outpatient mental health and addiction clinic in Singapore’s Novena medical district. Founded in 2011, the clinic supports children, adolescents and adults through coordinated care from psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors. Its central location within Novena Medical Centre provides a discreet, professional setting for assessments, therapy and ongoing recovery support. Treatment is personalized around each client’s symptoms, circumstances and goals rather than built around a single standardized pathway. The multidisciplinary team combines evidence-based psychological therapies, psychiatric care and holistic practices, with services spanning substance use, behavioural addictions, trauma, mood disorders, neurodevelopmental concerns and relationship difficulties. A typical programme may last around 30 days, although outpatient therapy can continue for a shorter or longer period according to clinical need. Clients may receive individual counselling, group work, family or couples therapy, medication-assisted treatment, relapse-prevention support and trauma-focused interventions such as EMDR. Promises Healthcare also offers Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and psychological assessments, allowing clients with more complex or co-occurring needs to access several disciplines through one clinic. The atmosphere is designed to feel compassionate, confidential and non-judgmental. Care is available to men, women and adolescents, while telehealth appointments may provide additional flexibility for eligible clients. Families can also be included where appropriate, helping loved ones understand addiction or mental health concerns and participate constructively in recovery.
