About Kasih Karunia Bali

Kasih Karunia Bali is a residential drug, alcohol and mental health treatment centre in the coastal community of Sanur. Established in 2022, the foundation welcomes men and women into a structured, restorative environment where they can step away from everyday pressures and concentrate on recovery. The programme combines Twelve-Step principles with a holistic philosophy inspired by Tri Hita Karana, the Balinese concept of harmony between people, spirituality and the natural world. Individual counselling, group therapy and psychoeducation help clients understand addiction and emotional health, while mindfulness, acupuncture and massage support physical and psychological wellbeing. Treatment is designed for people experiencing alcohol or drug addiction, including problems involving opioids, stimulants, benzodiazepines and prescription medication. Support is also available for anxiety, depression and trauma, allowing care plans to address emotional concerns that may influence substance use and long-term recovery. Life at the centre balances therapeutic work with practical and restorative activities. Clients can take part in yoga, cooking classes, exercise, swimming and organised outings, with gardens and outdoor areas providing space to reflect. English and Bahasa services, airport transfers, healthy meals and private or shared accommodation also make the programme accessible to international and Indonesian clients.
