About House of Hope

House of Hope is a private drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre in the peaceful countryside of Waitoki, north of central Auckland. Its small residential setting is designed to feel warm and homelike, giving each client privacy, personal attention and space away from everyday triggers while they begin recovery. Treatment combines the Twelve Step model with a holistic focus on physical, emotional and social wellbeing. Depending on individual needs, care may include medically assisted detox, individual counselling, group therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, recovery education, mindfulness, yoga, nutrition support and structured relapse-prevention planning. Residential programmes range from short stabilisation stays to more intensive treatment, while day treatment is available for people who cannot remain overnight. The centre also encourages family involvement and offers continuing support after eligible programmes, helping clients prepare for a more stable transition into daily life. Private bedrooms, chef-prepared meals, fitness support, a swimming pool and rural surroundings create a comfortable environment for healing. House of Hope welcomes men and women and is staffed by medical, counselling, nursing and wellness professionals, including team members with personal insight into addiction and recovery.
