About Holina Healing Centre

Holina Healing Centre is a private residential mental health and wellness retreat near Khao Yai National Park in Thailand. Its personalised programmes support adults experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, chronic pain and other emotional or behavioural challenges. Care combines structured clinical therapy with holistic practices intended to address psychological wellbeing, physical health and nervous-system regulation. Treatment is trauma-informed and tailored around each guest rather than delivered through a single standardised pathway. Depending on individual needs, a stay may incorporate one-to-one counselling, cognitive behavioural approaches, group work, somatic experiencing, mindfulness, neurofeedback, sound therapy, nutrition support, yoga and creative therapies. Medical and psychiatric consultants are available within a multidisciplinary team, while relapse-prevention and aftercare planning help guests prepare for life beyond residential treatment. The centre occupies a peaceful riverside property in the green, mountainous Khao Yai area, approximately two hours by road from Bangkok. Forested surroundings, gardens and access to outdoor recreation create a restorative alternative to an urban clinical setting. Guests can complement therapy with swimming, hiking, fitness, massage, martial arts, meditation and guided excursions to local attractions and waterfalls. Private accommodation, chef-prepared meals and wellness facilities allow guests to focus on recovery in comfort. Rooms offer en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and outdoor space, while shared facilities include a swimming pool, sauna, fitness centre and outdoor dining areas. Programmes are conducted in English, and admissions enquiries are handled confidentially.

I had a very positive experience at Holina Healing Trauma Treatment Center. From the beginning, the team was professional, compassionate, and genuinely attentive. The space itself feels calm and safe, which really helps when you’re doing vulnerable work. There was a small scheduling mix-up at one point, which initially caused a little stress. But what impressed me was how quickly and thoughtfully they handled it. They took full responsibility, communicated clearly, and made sure everything was resolved smoothly. It actually increased my trust in them because of how professionally they responded. The care itself feels very individualized. I never felt rushed or like just another client. The practitioners are knowledgeable, grounded, and create an atmosphere where healing feels realistic and steady — not dramatic, but meaningful. I’ve noticed real progress in how I process emotions and respond to stress. It feels like sustainable change rather than a temporary boost. Overall, I’m very grateful I found this center and would confidently recommend it to anyone seeking thoughtful, trauma-informed care.

I'm in residence here now (week 4) and it is wonderful. The staff is extremely caring, always available and very knowledgeable across many different modalities of healing. The environment they’ve created is incredibly thoughtful—peaceful, restorative, and deeply intentional. From the moment I arrived, the staff made it clear that their priority is helping each guest feel safe, cared for, and able to truly rest. That alone is rare. What stands out most to me is how individualized everything feels. The team takes the time to understand what you’re going through and thoughtfully guides you through a range of therapies and treatments designed to support real recovery. There’s a balance of science, holistic care, and genuine human compassion that seems to create the opportunity for real change. Plus, the food is plentiful, healthy and good! I also appreciated the pace of the program. Most days, there are multiple individual treatments (hyperbaric oxygen chamber, psychotherapy, reiki, water shiatsu, breathwork, massage and more) as well as very group sessions to join (yoga, meditation, aqua exercise, ice baths and more) plus pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, etc always available. It allows your nervous system to really settle, which for many of us is the foundation for any real healing to happen. After years of pushing through stress and illness, Holina gave me the space to reset in a way I didn’t think was possible. I almost didn't come because of that first review that was posted in September of 2025 - not sure how accurate that was back then, but I have my doubts. I'm really glad that I ignored it and decided to come here and get back to myself.

This is a great property for anyone looking for some quiet time in nature. We walked around and enjoyed the greenery and water while we were there. My favorite part about the room was the jacuzzi in the balcony, it was awesome! We didn’t spend much time at the property and it’s a bit far from main Khao Yai so that’s the only drawback.
