Connections Healthcare Centre Victoria Park is an outpatient counselling and psychology practice serving children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in Perth. Located on Albany Highway opposite the Victoria Park Post Office, the centre provides in-person private therapy alongside virtual counselling for clients seeking more flexible access to care. Founded in 2012, Connections follows a holistic, Christ-centred philosophy that considers emotional, psychological, physical and spiritual wellbeing. Christian principles can be incorporated into treatment when desired, but the centre welcomes people from different religious, cultural and personal backgrounds into a respectful, non-judgmental setting. Care is tailored to each client's circumstances, concerns and goals. The multidisciplinary team offers individual counselling, psychology, couples counselling, family therapy and group support for challenges such as trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, stress and self-harm. Children and teenagers can also receive age-appropriate support for emotional, behavioural and social difficulties. Connections is an outpatient practice rather than a residential rehabilitation facility, so there is no onsite accommodation or fixed-length programme. Appointment frequency and the likely number of sessions are discussed during assessment, allowing clients to follow a plan suited to their needs. The centre also accepts NDIS clients and provides Employee Assistance Program services for participating organisations.
