The clinical team then creates an individual treatment plan, using evidence-based protocols, regular medical reviews and prescription medication when appropriate to make withdrawal safer and more manageable. The seven-day detox programme is designed for people who would benefit from structured medical support without entering a residential facility. Participants receive 24-hour telephone access to clinical help during withdrawal and are generally required to have a trusted support person available. Care may address alcohol, cannabis and stimulant withdrawal, subject to an individual safety assessment. AIR Detox emphasises dignity, flexibility and continuity of care.
